This project will delve into providing new innovative ideas that push the boundaries of what technology is capable of within architecture.
Final Design
The final design encapsulates the fundamentals of sustainability, function and aesthetics.
With carbon emissions skyrocketing over the last decade, sustainability seems like the best solution but what are the steps to achieve optimal results. In order to come to that conclusion I first had to research the following questions:
- How to improve thermal dynamics within a residency without taking away from the aesthetic of the design?
- Can construction be improved with the latest technology in order to create a self sustaining home?
- What measures to take in order to minimise materials and labour?
