So, who am I, and why architecture?
I'm an individual who has a deep-rooted passion for art, design, psychology and history. Thinking outside the box has always been exciting to me, by continuously allowing me to push boundaries. The architectural industry stood out not only because of how it impacts the wider community but also because it has the power to affect individuals on a personal and psychological level. While studying architecture at University, I found my niche through experimentation with new mediums and learning that design is more than art and aesthetics, it incorporates the complexities of science, psychology, and sociology. Despite the restrictions on design, I see this as an opportunity to create solutions that maximise the possible outcomes.
Mission
My mission is to create designs that respond to environment, community and wellbeing. Looking into cutting edge solutions to transend ideas further whilst maintaining a high standard of efficiency and sustainability. Regularly enhancing my expertise in software, model making and construction that develop my analytical and critical thinking skills. As someone studying within the industry, I believe each building or design is unique to its surroundings, whether that is in context or to the occupant.
Vision
My vision when it comes to architecture, is simply to see more innovative organic designs that amplify and incorporate the intricicies of nature. Re-examining construction with sustainable materials and maximising geometries to minimise the carbon footprint of design.
